I am sure these and many similar thoughts would rank near the top of the list. More likely at the top. I am also comfortable that……<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

…..won’t rank high in our insurance poll. <\/span> Not even an agents’ mother would associate words like; best, top, great, amazing, elite or awesome to insurance agent or insurance agency<\/span><\/span>. <\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

However<\/span><\/span>, most people realize the importance of working with a good insurance agent. But where do you begin? How do you know if your agent is one of the top insurance agents in Kentucky? Is it possible to discern if I am working with one of the best insurance agencies in Louisville?<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

I don\u2019t have the answer and I would be very suspect of anyone that said they did. <\/span>However<\/span><\/span>, I can share with you some of the things I would consider if I were looking for a great insurance agency:<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

1.<\/span> Avoid the Hard Sell:<\/span> The day of the hard sell has long passed. Consumers are Buyers! This leaves no room for the salesperson. I can\u2019t think of a product or service that I want someone to sell me. Educate me. Please! Which by default means that I am looking for someone that I can trust?<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

2.<\/span> Trust:<\/span> For me, trust is the key. When I am buying my first move is to find someone in the know that I Trust. I get a lot of grief when I say this, but the right insurance agent is not trying to sell. A good insurance agency understands that you don\u2019t sell insurance. Insurance should not <\/span>be sold<\/span><\/span>. Consumers buy insurance. They buy insurance from people that they trust. <\/span>This is why I <\/span><\/span>firmly<\/span><\/span> believe that the best insurance agents or brokers realize that the insurance transactions occur as a result of trust<\/span><\/span>. Trust cannot <\/span>be sold<\/span><\/span>, it must <\/span>be earned<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

3.<\/span> Service:<\/span> Excluding Government, I am hard pressed to come up with a business or organization that doesn\u2019t acknowledge the importance of customer service<\/span><\/span>. I did say acknowledge. <\/span>While not all practice what they preach, many of us that realize that good customer service\u00a0comes with more than <\/span><\/span>just<\/span><\/span> a smile<\/span><\/span>. For me, good customer service also sends a signal that this is an organization that I can trust. <\/span>As I see it, entities providing a high level of customer services, are doing more than acknowledging the role that trust plays in a business relationship<\/span><\/span>. These businesses have also realized that earning your trust is only a part of the equation. Maintaining and keeping your trust is <\/span>just<\/span><\/span>, if not more, important.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Sure there is more to finding the right insurance agent. Many of the factors that drive your decision will <\/span>be <\/span><\/span>impacted<\/span><\/span> by<\/span><\/span> your unique needs. For those not interested in <\/span>online insurance<\/strong><\/em><\/a>, <\/span>the location will be a significant factor. <\/span>With <\/span><\/span>numerous<\/span><\/span> options, finding a good insurance agent in Louisville, Lexington or most other areas of Kentucky\u2019s other larger cities shouldn\u2019t be a backbreaker<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/div>\n
